Food at School

Food at School

Parents and carers are encouraged to provide children with healthy food that will enable teachers to assist in the development of lifelong healthy eating habits. Healthy food is important for children and helps with concentration and learning. Students are discouraged from sharing food or bringing chocolates, lollies, chewing gum or soft drinks to school. Children have three eating times during the school day: fruit break, recess and lunch. Eating times are supervised by teachers.
