The School Board is the official governing body of Macquarie Primary School. The Board consists of up to seven members: 3 parent representatives, 2 teacher representatives, the Principal and one community representative. Members of the Board gain their positions through election.
The Board is responsible for all policy decisions for the school. Staggered two-year terms ensure continuity in the Board's work. The Macquarie Board encourages communication between the school and its community in approving the school's budget, curriculum and education policies as well as its many needs in relation to buildings, facilities, equipment and funds.
Elected community members of the School Board can be contacted about school matters.
