At Macquarie we realise learning doesn't just happen from 9-3, and there are many things you can do to help your children’s education at home. Reading every day is vital for developing brains, so to make it easier we have a collection of web sites you can use to get the reading bug happening! As Dr Seuss said: "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go."
TumbleBook Library: Online books, videos, games and learning activities for young children.
Story Box Library: The best place for children to watch celebrated stories read aloud by our well-known Australians.
BusyCode: Introduce young children to the fundamentals of coding, a skill for the future. They will learn how to create, run and debug simple programs via tutorials, challenges and projects.
Starfall: Starfall has reading activities and EBooks for children in lower to middle primary.
The Macquarie Primary School Library provides access to thousands of eBooks and audiobooks via the catalogue. Use the Digital Backpack to access the Oliver catalogue. Students will need their school login details.
