Our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) is a great way to get involved with our school and have a say.
The P&C is open to all Macquarie Primary families and community members. We bring together parents, citizens, students and staff.
The P&C contributes to the school and its students through events, fundraising, canteen, uniform shop, book club, gardens and grounds, breakfast club, special projects and more.
Details about the P&C, our subcommittees, events and activities, and how to be involved are provided via the school newsletter and our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/macquarieprimary
Meetings are generally held once or twice each term.
If you have ideas, want to volunteer, or would like to know more, come along to our meetings, leave a note in the P&C box near the Front Office, or email us

Twice per term P&C volunteers distribute Scholastic Book Club catalogues and coordinate book orders to students. Book Club orders earn rewards that are used for purchasing extra books and learning materials for our school.
The Canteen relies on the hard work of P&C volunteers to plan menus and buy supplies as well as prepare, cook and distribute healthy food for our students and staff. P&C volunteers also organise special lunches at events such as the Athletics Carnival.
The Shop is run by a dedicated team of P&C volunteers and provides families with a range of schoolwear as close to cost price as possible, as well as pre-loved and second hand items.

The Macquarie Primary Facebook page is administered by P&C volunteers to keep our community informed and up to date.
The aims and operating guidelines of the P&C are set out in our Constitution.
The P&C welcomes requests for assistance and funding for activities and projects that benefit Macquarie Primary students and our school community. For more information on how to seek P&C support refer to our Assistance and Funding Guidelines. A list of activities and projects that the P&C has supported is here.
